Eastern Elementary would like to thank Brandon Harris of Beaver Valley Trucking for sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for our Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Students.
The Eastern Local School District has partnered with Southern Ohio Soles this school year. This program provides new shoes to students in need free of costs. Eastern Elementary 3rd-5th grade students will be presenting 101 Dalmatians on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00pm in the Eastern Local Schools Cafeteria. Please make plans to attend this event and support all of the students who have been working hard to make this production a success.

Also, thank you to Western Local School District for entering this friendly competition to support the Ronald McDonald House. The two schools combined to collect four barrels of pop tabs!!
Finally, thank you to Dixon Jewelers for creating and donating the trophy that will travel to the winning school each year!

If you have not scheduled a conference yet, You should be receiving information from your child's teacher today on how to schedule a conference. Eastern Elementary would like to remind all families of the Eastern Primary K-2 Christmas Concert taking place tonight, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:00pm. Students are asked to report to the elementary gym at 5:45PM. We are asking all families and students to please enter at door number 1 or door number 2 as there are other events taking place in the building during this time. Please make plans to come out and support our students tonight!
Eastern Local Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The closure is due to Eastern Local School serving as a polling location for the general election. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 2-8PM. Students will be released 2 hours early on this day. Please schedule a time for conferences with your child's teachers if you have not done so already. There will be no school on Friday, November 7, 2025 for Parent Teacher Compensation Day for staff. Eastern Local Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 for the observation of Veterans Day. Lastly, Eastern Local Schools will be releasing 2 hours early on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 and closed November 26-28 and December 1 , 2025 for Thanksgiving Break. Please call the school with any questions regarding this schedule.
