2024 Football Information: All 2024 Eastern home football games will be broadcast on the radio on 660 AM and 95.9 FM. Home games will also be livestreamed on Total Media Sports (link below). Gates for every home game will open at 5:30 p.m. All Eastern students receive free admission at all Eastern athletic events. Tonight's home game against Miller is a whiteout game! Please wear white to the game. Tonight is also military appreciation night. Veterans and active military members receive free admission and food at tonight's game! Pets and animals are not permitted in the athletic complex during athletic contests. All fundraisers and solicitation must be approved by the building principal prior to the game. Eastern High School will host Military Appreciation Night at the home football game against Miller this Friday, August 23, at 7pm! Veterans and active military members will receive free admission and free food and drinks at the military hospitality tent.

Students and guardians registered for tomorrow's 6th and 9th grade orientations should enter the event entrance (Door 10). Orientation will be held in the multi-purpose room near the library. Thank you

6th and 9th grade orientations will be held on Wednesday, August 14. Please call (740) 226-1544 to register for an orientation session. Due to space limitations, students should bring only one parent or close family member to orientation. Students in all other grade levels will also be able to pick up their schedules in the office on Wednesday, August 14. Thank you.

Check out this year's derby bus! This year's theme is a salute to the U.S. armed forces. The derby is Tuesday, July 30, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pike County fairgrounds. Good luck to our driver, Jessica Wells, and thank you to Robin Slusher for decorating the bus!! #OnwardEagles

Registration for the summer extended learning program is open from May 20-24. Families who intend to participate in the summer extended learning program must complete this form by 3pm on May 24, 2024. The program will operate from 9am to 12pm, Monday to Thursday, between May 28 and June 20, 2024. Congratulations to the Eastern Middle/High School Math 24 teams!! The teams won the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade competitions, as well as the overall winner in the grades 4-6 competition and the grades 7-9 competition! Lots of great things going on this week! Here's the first of multiple posts... Mr. Legg's Conservation Science students recently traveled to Lake Snowden to complete the Ohio Boater Education Course. Mr. Legg is a certified OBEC instructor for ODNR and all coursework is completed in the Conservation Science course. Mr. Legg also recently acquired another grant to purchase canoes to the program. #OnwardEagles

The EHS marching band recently traveled to Cincinnati to perform at King's Island. The group spent the night at Great Wolf Lodge and earned a trophy and a "Good" rating at King's Island. Great job! #OnwardEagles

Eastern Heart for Art students traveled to Queen City Clay in Cincinnati today to learn about and participate in clay pottery making!! #OnwardEagles

Congratulations to Carson Salisbury, Jubal Bevins, Dawson Cody, and Xane Runyon for a 2nd place overall finish at the Shawnee State University SUMS math competition yesterday!! The competition included student teams from Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Students also competed individually but results are not yet available. Great job!! #OnwardEagles
