Eastern Elementary will be celebrating Read Across America Week March 3-7. There will be a theme for students each day of the week.
Boys basketball tournament information for tonight's district semifinal:
Location - Jackson High School
Time - 6pm
Opponent - Eastern (Meigs) High School
Admission - $8/$5 (students)
Parking - $3
The gym will be cleared after the game and an additional ticket will be required if staying for the 8pm game.

Eastern Local Schools will be dismissing the After School Intervention Program 30 minutes early at 4:30pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The 30 minute early dismissal is to allow everyone time to attend the Varsity Boys Basketball game at Jackson High School starting at 6:00 PM.
Tonight's home boys basketball tournament game is a White Out!! Please wear white to tonight's game. Game starts at 7pm. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
We will be having sausage biscuits for breakfast on Friday, 1/21.

Kim Shaw's bus #16-01 is running a few minutes behind this morning, 2/19/25.
Due to flooding, bus #21-01 (Jonathan Cantrell's/YMCA) will be 10-15 minutes late in the morning, Wednesday, 2/19/25.
We will be having pancakes tomorrow morning, 2/19 for breakfast.
Don't miss out! The Eagle Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, March 8th, at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. This is a reverse raffle where you could win up to $5,000! Tickets are $100 each and include admission and dinner for two catered by Beast and Bottle and one entry in the reverse raffle. There will also be an early bird drawing, Chinese raffle, split the pot, and lots of fun! Call the middle/high school office or contact Kathy Osborne for your ticket or tickets before they sell out. Students at the YMCA and on Beaver Pike who ride bus #21-01 (Jonathan Cantrell's) will be picked up approximately 25 minutes late in the morning (2/18) due to high water.
Tickets will be taken at both door 10 (event entrance) and door 19 (receiving/kitchen entrance) for tonight's boys basketball game against Minford.
Eastern Youth League will be having baseball and softball sign ups available tonight during Parent Teacher Conference from 5-7p.m. in the cafeteria .
