Eastern Local School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, October 1st.

Tonight's varsity football game and homecoming ceremony have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 28. The homecoming ceremony will begin at 1:30 pm and kickoff will be at 2:00 pm. The homecoming dance will continue as scheduled, from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Thank you.

Eastern Elementary will be hosting our annual Fall Book Fair and Grandparent's Luncheon next week. The book fair will run from Monday, September 30th thru Thursday, October 4th with the Grandparent's Luncheon being held on Thursday, October 4th.

The vocational agriculture and consumer science programs recently traveled to the annual Farm Science Review in London, Ohio where students learn about and explore various agricultural career opportunities. #OnwardEagles

Students in Mr. Brewster's Careers and Transitions course recently completed training in basic tools and safety skills. As a part of the project, the students built a picnic table that will be auctioned as a part of a fundraiser later this year. #OnwardEagles

We will be having the Wednesday, 9/11 menu (sausage biscuits for breakfast/ hotdogs for lunch) on Thursday, 9/12. We will be back on the regular rotation on Friday.

Pictures for grades 4-6 have been rescheduled for tomorrow, September 12. All other photos will continue as scheduled for the remainder of the week.

Tonight's varsity football game has been postponed to tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, at 7pm.

The EHS Conservation Science class and the EHS Science Club completed the ODNR Introduction to Canoeing course at Lake White State Park today. The district obtained the canoes and trailer through an ODNR boating safety grant.  

"Fall Pictures" are scheduled for the following dates next week: Monday, September 9th- Preschool and Kindergarten Tuesday, September 10th- Grades 1-3 Wednesday, September 11th- Grades 4/5. Please see the attached fliers for information on picture packages, prices, and payments.

The EHS National Honor Society will be hosting its annual blood drive on September 10th from 9:00am-2:30pm. The blood drive helps the community and provides scholarships for NHS students.
