The 24-25 Preschool Registration Packet is now available. If you are wanting to have your child enrolled in preschool for the 24-25 school year, please complete the attached packet. You will need to return the packet to the elementary school office or bring the packet in during Kindergarten Registration on April 12, 2024 between 8:00am and 3:00pm at door 23.

2023-2024 yearbook order forms will be sent home with students next week. Orders will be accepted until Monday, May 6, 2024. Thank you.

This is a reminder we will be having registration for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten on Friday, April 5 and Friday, April 12. Please complete the google form on our website and we will contact you to schedule a time. If you have an appointment already scheduled for either day, please park outside the elementary gym and enter at door 23. We are excited to meet all of our future eagles!

Eastern Elementary had a visit from the Atomic Credit Union "Cash Machine" today. The 3 lucky students who got to grab the cash were Faith Gray, Maverick Campbell, and Briar Burkitt. To date this school year, Eastern Elementary has had over 500 transactions saving over $3700! Thank you Atomic Credit Union for this wonderful program!

The Eastern Local School District will hold its Annual Federal Programs Meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the High School Cafeteria prior to the beginning of the 2023-2024 Elementary STEM Night. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more about the Federal Funding portion of the District's finances.

The Moment of Excellence for the March 2024 board meeting was Eastern Elementary student, Weston Cornett, and EHS student, Jace White! Weston was recognized for reaching 1,000,000 words in AR this year and Jace was recognized for scoring his 1,000th career point. #OnwardEagles

Middle school families traveling to the county spelling bee tomorrow should be advised that the super load will be traveling through Pike County at approximately 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. You may experience some traffic or delays in and around Piketon and US 23.
