This Friday night is Youth Night at the Eastern varsity football game! All youth football players who wear their football jersey to the game will be recognized and will line up at the tunnel for the team entrance prior to kickoff. Participating youth football players should be on the track next to the tunnel 10 minutes prior to kickoff. #OnwardEagles

Eastern Elementary would like to thank "Busy Beaver Farms" for visiting and having a bee hive display for our students today. The students were given a presentation on honey bees, how the hive operates, pollination, and the usage of honey and beeswax.
Eastern Elementary will be having the Scholastic Book Fair from Monday, September 29th thru Thursday, October 2nd. Grandparents Day will be held on Thursday, October 2nd. On Tuesday, September 9, the EHS National Honor Society will host an American Red Cross blood drive in the middle school gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thank you to everyone who donated last year, earning EHS students a $1000 scholarship. Please help us obtain that goal again this year!
Homecoming Update:
Due to the rescheduling of the homecoming game for Saturday, September 20, the dance has been moved to Friday, September 19 (the night before the game) from 8:00-10:30 p.m.

Tomorrow's varsity football game is Military Appreciation Night at Eastern High School! All veterans and active military members will receive FREE admission and a FREE hot dog, chips, and drink at the concession stand!
Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.

New officers elected for this school year are as follows: President- Stacey Davis, Vice President- McKayla Causey, Treasurer- Brandi Burkitt, Secretary Lauri Travis, and Volunteer Coordinator Jessica Timberlake.
