6th and 9th grade orientations will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026. 9th grade orientation will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria and 6th grade orientation will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Students/parents may register for orientation by calling the office at 740-226-1544.
All other students (grades 7, 8, 10, 11 & 12) may pick up schedules and locker assignments on Thursday, August 20, from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the lobby in front of the middle/high school office. Students may also find their locker and put their belongings in their locker during this time.

As a reminder, admission to Southern Ohio Conference athletic events was increased last year to $7 for adult admission. While admission to all varsity games has increased to $7, admission to all Eastern Middle School games has remained at $5 for adult admission (please be advised that most other conference schools will be charging $7 for middle school contests).
Additionally, Eastern High School will offer season passes at a discounted rate for all varsity sports. Fall sports prices are listed below and are determined by the number of home games in that season. (NOTE: Season passes can be purchased at any time, but prorated passes will not be offered later in the season).
Varsity Football : $25 (5 home games)
Varsity Volleyball: $55 (11 home games)
Season passes can be purchased in the office or at the ticket table at any home varsity contest this year.
** Season passes only grant admission to regular season, home varsity games. OHSAA tournament and playoff games played at home are NOT included in season passes.

Mrs. Slusher is inviting the entire Eastern community to help paint this year's bus for the Pike County Fair Bus Derby! Any student or community member who would like to participate can join Mrs. Slusher at the school Tuesday, July 14, from 9am to noon. #OnwardEagles

Due to today's regional softball game being postponed until tomorrow, today's early dismissal has been canceled and we will dismiss at regular time. Additionally, we will dismiss at noon tomorrow in order to allow students and staff to attend the softball game. Thank you.
The regional semifinal softball game has been moved to tomorrow, May 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Pickerington Central High School.
Tonight's regional softball game has been postponed due to inclement weather in Pickerington. A makeup date and time will be announced later this evening once confirmed by the OHSAA.

Tomorrow's boys 7th and 8th grade basketball open gym has been rescheduled for Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Due to the weather, the varsity girls softball district championship game has been moved to Circleville High School at 5:00 p.m. today. #OnwardEagles
Registration for the middle/high school summer extended learning program is open until May 22, 2026. The program will operate from 9am to 12pm, Monday to Thursday, between June 1 and June 25, 2026. Transportation, breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participating students.
