Eastern Middle/High School Vo-Ag and FFA students recently hosted a farm day for Eastern elementary students! Elementary students were able interact with multiple animals and the middle/high school students provided multiple demonstrations and interactive lessons. #OnwardEagles

Eastern Elementary would like to thank the volunteers from Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department for spending some time with Eastern Elementary kindergarten students this morning. Students received a talk on Fire safety, information on fire safety for families, a demonstration of equipment, and most importantly, the opportunity to see a Fire Fighter in full gear in the event of a structure fire. We appreciate their continued support and educating children on fire safety each year.

Don't forget! Tomorrow is youth night at the varsity football game. All youth football players should wear their uniforms and meet at the track next to the tunnel 10 minutes prior to kickoff. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
Also, the Beaver Lions Club will be holding a fish fry tonight! Fish sandwiches will be $5. The Lions Club raises funds to support students in the Eastern Local School District!

This Friday night is Youth Night at the Eastern varsity football game! All youth football players who wear their football jersey to the game will be recognized and will line up at the tunnel for the team entrance prior to kickoff. Eastern Elementary would like to thank "Busy Beaver Farms" for visiting and having a bee hive display for our students today. The students were given a presentation on honey bees, how the hive operates, pollination, and the usage of honey and beeswax.
