Eastern Elementary had a visit from the Atomic Credit Union "Cash Machine" today. The 3 lucky students who got to grab the cash were Faith Gray, Maverick Campbell, and Briar Burkitt. To date this school year, Eastern Elementary has had over 500 transactions saving over $3700! Thank you Atomic Credit Union for this wonderful program!

The Eastern Local School District will hold its Annual Federal Programs Meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held in the High School Cafeteria prior to the beginning of the 2023-2024 Elementary STEM Night.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more about the Federal Funding portion of the District's finances.

The Moment of Excellence for the March 2024 board meeting was Eastern Elementary student, Weston Cornett, and EHS student, Jace White! Weston was recognized for reaching 1,000,000 words in AR this year and Jace was recognized for scoring his 1,000th career point. #OnwardEagles

Middle school families traveling to the county spelling bee tomorrow should be advised that the super load will be traveling through Pike County at approximately 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. You may experience some traffic or delays in and around Piketon and US 23.

The EHS History Club visited the Wright Patterson National Air Force Museum yesterday. As a part of their visit, the group toured the Air Force One jet that served the Kennedy through Clinton administrations!! #OnwardEagles
